Privacy Policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") is to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of certain information that VineLoop, LLC ("VineLoop" or "us" or "we") accumulates as a result of your use of VineLoop’s website, (the "Site"), and social networking services, via the internet or our mobile app (collectively, with the Site, the "Services"). This policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes.

What information is collected and what will we do with this information?

Information voluntarily provided by you when creating your VineLoop account to access the Services (the "Account") (including, without limitation, your name, email address, etc.) and any information provided by you that specifically indentifies you is treated by VineLoop as "Personal Information". VineLoop understands that the protection of such Personal Information is important to you and for that reason, VineLoop does not share or sell any Personal Information with or to any third parties, except as described herein or on our Site. We may share Personal Information as follows: with service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our Site or services; when you give us consent to do so; when we believe in good faith that we are legally authorized or required to do so, and that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law, including responding to lawful subpoenas, warrants, or court orders; to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, the VineLoop Terms and Conditions, or our other policies or agreements; and in connection with, or during negotiations of any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition.

We may also use Personal Information to allow us to deliver the Services or information you request, to provide customer service by responding to your emails, submissions, questions, comments, requests, and complaints, and to send you confirmations, updates, security alerts, support, and administrative messages. As part of providing you with the Services, we may need to contact you with materials such as service announcements, administrative messages, newsletters, promotional and advertising materials and other such communications from VineLoop and its partner organizations. These communications are considered part of the Services and your Account, which you may not be able to opt-out from receiving.

VineLoop’s primary function is to provide a forum for sharing content with other users. This content can include, but is not limited to, photos, videos, links, events, comments, notes, ratings and messages. This content, combined with all activity taking place during your use of the Services, (collectively, "User Generated Content"), may be tracked, logged, and stored by VineLoop. You hereby assign and transfer to VineLoop all of your right, title, and interest in all User Generated Content, and VineLoop reserves the rights to all User Generated Content provided through the use of the Services.

We also collect information that you provide when creating your Account and personalizing your user preferences on the Site, including, without limitation, zip code, age and gender ("Non-Identifying Information"). Non-Identifying information is not considered Personal Information.

Through your use of the Services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Site ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include non-personal information such as your Internet Protocol address, the operating system being used, the browser type, the address of a referring website, and your activity on our Site including time spent, pages visited, information searched, access times and dates, and other related statistics. We may use Log Data to monitor and analyze Site usage and trends, and to personalize and improve the Site and customer experiences on the Site as well as to provide ads, content, or features that match our users’ profiles and interests. We also use this information to increase the Site’s functionality and user friendliness, and to verify that visitors to the Site meet the criteria required.

We may combine your User Generated Content, Non-Identifying Information and/or Log Data and aggregate it with information collected from other users to improve the quality of our product. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not identify you, and is simply intended for industry analysis, demographic profiling, and other similar purposes.

With regard to VineLoop’s mobile app (the "App"), we may collect information generated by you through your use of the App. When the App is active, your mobile device provides periodic updates regarding your location to our server through the use of global positioning technology. We reserve the right to store and share this information, as well as the content created as a result of your use of the App.

Like many other websites, information may also be automatically collected through the use of "cookies" or web beacons. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. We use these to save your search preferences and Personal Information, as well as registration ID and login password for future use of the Site. We also use them to enable certain features of the Site, to better understand how you interact with the Site, and to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on the Site.

VineLoop does not knowingly maintain Personal Information, User Generated Content, Non-Identifiable Information, or Log Data for individuals under the age of 18.

Your control:

Aside from what is set forth herein, you control what information can be seen or accessed by others on the Site. You will have access to privacy settings that you may set in order to limit the ability of others to see certain aspects of your profile. You control what information other users of the Services will be able to access and view at any given time.

Third parties and links to other sites:

We may institute programs with advertising partners and other websites in which they share information with us. We may ask advertisers to tell us how our users responded to the ads we provided. This data sharing helps us measure our advertising effectiveness and improve the quality of the advertisements you see.

We are not responsible for the actions of service providers or other third parties, including those whose links can be accessed through the Site, nor are we responsible for any additional information you provide directly to those third parties. The fact that we present a link to a website or a banner ad or other type of advertisement is not necessarily an endorsement, authorization, or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy policy or practices. Any information you provide once you have left our Site is subject to that third party’s privacy policy, and as such we encourage that you read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites you visit.

Third-party advertisers on the Site may also place or read cookies on your browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before you accept a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all portions of the Site or all functionality of the Services.

Security:

VineLoop takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are 100% secure or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

Removing information or deleting your account:

If you want to stop using your Account you have the ability to delete it. When you delete your Account, it is permanently deleted from the Site. You should only delete your Account if you are certain that you will not want to use the Site or Services at any later date.

Even after you remove User Generated Content from your profile or delete your Account, copies may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent that they have been copied or stored by other users of the Site.

Removed and deleted information may persist in backup copies for up to 90 days, but will not be available to other users.
